1961 Halswell Rugby League Team
One of our kind members has passed on what is likely to be one of the oldest Halswell RFLC photos on record! With the HRFL Club having only been established the year prior, this photo captures the 1961 Halswell Rugby League side. The above photo contains several players who represented their country, including the player-coach, Cyril Paskell.

Halswell is the only Rugby League Club in Canterbury to be awarded the Gold ClubMark. ClubMark signals to the wider community that the club is well organised, well resourced, with systems in place that will assist with all volunteer positions within the club.
